Like a comet pulled from orbit as it passes a sun,
Like a stream that meets a boulder halfway through the wood, who can say if I've been changed for the better? But because I knew you, I have been changed for good.

Last Friday, my family, the Bowmans, Evan, and William went out to the country-side, to a ger-camp. ^^ So fun The afternoon day was ok...not a lot to tell... we just basically rode the car into the camp, and had dinner. After dinner, though, we got to shoot and old-fashioned bow at a piece of hide strung up in a frame a few feet off the ground. I didn’t actually shoot the target...but the arrow landed between the two poles That night my family played Phase 10 with Evan and William. But once it got dark, then crazy things started to happen 0.0 First we had to move from under one light to another because it was too dark, then I started burping lightening XD (Don’t ask), there was a killer bug outside the room we were playing games in (dang...that thing was LOUD ._. ), then some drunks came in and started being loud >.<; That was when we decided that it was time to go to bed. Some other funny things happened, but those I won’t relate XD In the morning we went to a Chingis Khan (sp?) museum. That was pretty kewl, but it was full of worship stuff, and the signs made little or no sense. They’d say something like “The worship of eternal blue skies forever here. Walk on holy ground see blue skies Chingis Khan reverence.” There were pictures, painting, and random stuff just hanging up in there was really neat. I didn’t know they had crossbows in Chingis Khan’s time 0.o I was disssapointed that the get that had the old weapons was down, though. Oh, yeah My dad and William got to put on a huge, felt armor thing XD It was great...I’ll have to post pictures later. Throughout just about the whole tour though, we were in knee-high flours and grasses, and I was just about to go insane. My eyes were watering and itching, my nose was running, and it was just generally miserable. It wasn’t long after that when we went to Turtle-Rock. If you ever get a chance, you MUST go to Turtle-Rock. It’s the moom. Mir, you know what I mean. It’s a rock formation in the middle of a little valley that looks like a turtle (surprise, surprise) that’s looking towards the sky. Very kewl. Then we rode horses *Lurvs riding horses* XD I probably got the only decent horse. We walked mostly for the first thirty minutes, but towards the end I led Hannah’s horse. That was one ornery horse. I could hardly hold it in my hand because the horse just didn’t want to move, so, using my mad rope skills (not >.>, I tied her horse’s lead onto my tourist saddle-horn. This technique proved to make the oddest horse ride I’ve ever experienced. As you probably know, the shortest way from point A, to point B is straight across, and I happened to be sitting in the middle of ‘straight across’, so I had to sit halfway off the saddle as I towed a stubborn horse behind me. Keep in mind that it is towing a horse reluctant horse behind it, and I am clinging to the saddle, and halfway off the horse: in the very end, my dad’s horse decided to trot, and my horse didn’t like it. IT wanted to lead the pack, and so it started to go faster, and both were running within a minute. So for the final tenish minutes I was very uncomfortable. Suffice to say, I was glad to get off the horse. After lunch, we packed up, got into the car, and headed off. About thirty minutes down the road, I saw what I had been keeping my eye out for. On the way there, I’d seen it, and told everyone to look for it on the way back. It was a tourist place where they had a reindeer, two camels, and an eagle <3 There were a bunch of Japanese tourist there, though, so we had to wait for a little while. So William and I got out, and took a picture with the eagle. Now, this sounds simpler than it was. First, we had to get the camera ready, then William had to get his hand into his really big, leather glove, drop it onto the ground because the eagle was holding onto the glove too tightly, and he couldn’t get hi hand in there, try again, manage to get his hand into to thing on the second try, hold onto the strap so the eagle wouldn’t fall off, and move his arm up and down so that the eagle would spread its wings. I managed to get a good picture of him, then it was my turn. I got my hand into the glove on the first try, but must not have done something right with the strap to hold onto, because when I moved my hand up and down, the thing tried to take off 0.0; So while I was trying to duck the wings, hold onto the strap, and pray that it didn’t walk up my arm with it VERY pointy claws, William took the picture. I assume it was good. I couldn’t see it very well when he showed it to me. (*Must upload pictures* ^^) Then William and I got onto their two camels that were there. This part wasn’t as exciting, because I’ve ridden camels before. I hate it when they get up and get down, though. I always feel like they’re gonna fling me over their head >.< We skipped the reindeer because we’d just been to a lake where there had been a lot of ‘em.
And that was our exciting countryside adventure :D
The youth retreat was fun, and I have a huge bruise all over the back of my knee to testify that I played hard during the ‘Marshmallow Game’ XD Sound easy, ne? Not really. XD
It’s a complicated game to explain, but here’s all you really need to know: there were 20ish people trying to get through a door and I decided that I wanted to stop them. XD
Stupid? Me? Yeah XD
Anyways, my back hurt from sleeping on a new bed, I had a bruise under one of my kneecaps (another result of our beloved "Marshmallow Game"), a bruise on my elbow that I can't realy see, but can feel, and I couldn’t take a shower for three days. XP Gross, I know, but the water was rust-colored, and it was always cold. I decided that I’d take my chances with the smell of sweat vs whatever smell the rusty water gave.
I’m typing this at the school, and Mr. Springer’s leaving, so I have to go.
Well, we're going to the youth retriet thinkg today, and I'm stiting at home at 6:18 waiting for time to go by and trying to firgure out how to hold a puppy to keep her from chewing on the internet cord and type at the same time...then again, the computer cord isn't very breakable, and she's eating my computerbag...
Yah...for those of yall who didn't see me yesterday or the day before, we have a puppy. She's a cockerspaniel, and we called her Daisy. I like kitties better, but there are too many people who are allergic. When I get old, I'm gonna buy 50 cats, and all the kids on my block/all my grandkids are gonna know me as the 'cat lady' XD
BTW, for those of yall who didn't know, I have a myspace. Yes, they are annoying, and hard to understand, but AGH! THE PEER PRESSURE WAS TOO MUCH! AAAAA! XD
Yay! Yesterday, at church, it was the first time Rochele and I played guitar in public for other people to sing to and stuff! <3 It was way fun. Yeah.
Anyways, the BG could be confusing, but it's another Wicked song. It's about how when people enter our lives, they change them. And stuff liek that. o.o
